Cleveland Plain Dealers Boys Track All-Stars

USATF Level One School offered at Boardman HS

            A USA Track & Field Level One Certification Course will be held at Boardman High School the weekend of August 1^st – 3^rd.  The course offers a national coaching certification from the USATF and is one of less than 50 such schools to be offered nation-wide each year.

The course consists of classroom instruction as well as hands-on training and covers all events emphasizing fundamentals, rules, instruction techniques, teaching progressions, and sports sciences.

SPARTAN SPEED SCHOOL

       The Spartan Speed School will once again be offered at Boardman High School this July.  The Speed School is a series of nine two-hour sessions held each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from July 7^th – 25^th.  Campers will learn the fundamentals of sprint speed and acceleration using drills and exercises proven to improve any athlete’s speed skills.
