The outdoor track and field season will get under way with competition at the Austintown Fitch Early Bird Meet, Saturday March 25, 2023. This meet is always one where the weather comes into play. The early meets in northeastern Ohio are always subject to snow, sleet, hail and cold temperatures. Teams expected to compete are Austintown Fitch, Avon Lake, Bedford, Chardon, Garrettsville Garfield, GlenOak, Mentor, Painesville Riverside, Wadsworth, Boardman, Beaumont, Medina, Solon, Salem and University School.
