Tallmadge Girls, Aurora Boys Win Track Titles at Aurora Greenmen Invitational

The Tallmadge girls scored 124 points to best host school Aurora girls (109) to win the Aurora Greenmen Invitational Friday night at Veterans Stadium. Double winners were Lauren Moses of Tallmadge who set a record in the girls pole vault at 11′ 00″. She also won the long jump at 15′ 11.5″.  Azsah Bradley the fine senior sprinter from Ravenna won the 100 meter dash in 12.70 and the 200 meter dash in 25.70. Caitlyn Hensley of Aurora swept the hurdle events winning the 100 hurdles in 17.16 and the 300 hurdles in 51.91. 

On the boys side, host school Aurora won the meet by a single point 115 to Tallmadge boys 114. Double winners were Cameron O’Connor of Chagrin Falls who won the 200 meter dash (23.72) and the 400 meter dash in 53.46. Matt Singleton of Aurora won the 800 meter run in 2:06.13 and the 1600 in 4:46.95. Odis Florence won the discus with a throw of 132′ 00″ and also won the 110HH in 15.29. Outstanding performers for the meet were: Lauren Moses of Tallmadge and Odis Florence of Streetsboro.
