Salem Boys, Louisville Girls Win Track & Field Titles at Salem Friday Night.

This was the last year in the Northeastern Buckeye Conference for the Louisville girls and they went out with a win scoring 123 points to best 2nd place Minerva(105) to win the NBC title. Micah Donley of Carrollton had a monster night winning 3 events; the 100, 200, 400 and running a leg on the winning 4 x 200 meter relay. Other multi winners were Payton Knoch of Marlington (100 and 300 hurdles)and Karli Miller of Louisville (high jump and long jump). Only meet record was set by Caitlyn Marx of Salem. She threw the discus 147′ 7″ to best the previous record of 137′ 3″ set by Marci Evanich in 1998. 

On the boys side, Salem boys scored 137 points to out pace 2nd place Alliance  (108). Sam Myers of Alliance was a double winner taking the 100, 200 and running a leg on the winning 4 x 200 meter relay.
