The 2011 Suburban Cross Country League Championship will be held on Tuesday, September 20 at the Canfield Fairgrounds, according to the following schedule:
4:30 pm – High School Girls
5:05 pm – High School Boys
ASAP following high school boys – Middle School Girls, followed by Middle School Boys.
The Canfield booster club will ask for a $2 donation per car for parking, to defray the cost of course preparation. The top 5 teams in each high school race and the top 2 teams in each middle school race will receive plaques.
The boys teams from Boardman and Howland completed the Suburban League regular season undefeated, as did the girls from Howland and Poland.
The top boys’ teams at the league championship meet last year were as follows:

Seven of the top ten individuals return, including meet champion Ryan Roush of South Range. Other returnees from the top ten include:

Two seniors topped the girls’ division last year. Katie Heney of Boardman was the individual champ last year, followed by Katelyn Ardale of Struthers. Runners form the top 10 returning this year include:
