Zach Gray of McDonald had a busy day at the division 3 track & field meet in Columbus. Earlier in the day he finished runner up in the shot put to Dominic Perry of Crestview. Later in the day he won the discus event with a throw of 179′ 6″.
For the 4th consecutive year the Chagrin Falls girls captured the division 2 girls 4 x 800 meter relay. This year they ran the 3200 meters in 9:18.20. Their quartet was comprised of junior Hannah Clark, freshman Claire Coffey, freshman Rose Hoelzel and senior Catherine Coffey.
After finishing third a year ago, the Shelby boys ran a great race in order to bring home gold in the boys division 2 4×800 meter relay.
